Heywood Healthcare to Hold Annual Diabetes Health Fair

GARDNER, Mass. - Sept. 7, 2016 - PRLog -- Heywood Healthcare will host its Annual Diabetes Health Fair on Tuesday, September 20th from 4 – 6 pm. The event will be held in the North and South Cafeterias of Mount Wachusett Community College, located at 244 Green Street, Gardner.

This fair is an opportunity to learn about diabetes, including the newest methods and tools for managing the disease. Attendees can talk one-on-one with healthcare professionals that specialize in the treatment of diabetes, and learn about the best foods to include in a healthy diet.

Diabetes experts on-site will also offer tips and tricks to exercise in any season as well as free literature to take home. Free diabetic product samples will also be available.

Attendees can enter to win a grand prize by filling out a brief health questionnaire.
