New Casting Call Email Alert And Demo Reel Service For Actors
Calling All Actors and Actresses in South Florida - Filmmaker Shooting Short Films in Broward County, Florida
"If you live in South Florida and you are a local actor or actress, this is a great opportunity to show the world your talent," Wright began.
"I will send out casting call notices using email and Facebook. Be sure to sign up for my email alert and follow my Facebook page and group."
Each short film is produced, written, and directed by Mr. Wright.
"I have written drama scripts and I will shoot mostly short, entertaining drama," Wright continued.
"The characters in my short films will deal with crime, law, police, family, marriage, divorce, family, relationships, or psychological horror…just to name a few."
Each of the filmmaker's short films will need a minimum of two actors depending upon the film's story.
"This is an opportunity for actors to be seen and have more than one line," said Wright.
All shots will be close ups with a few medium shots and very few full shots.
"When casting directors, agents, or friends and family see your performance in my short films, they will have no doubt that you are a very talented actor," Wright said.
"Being an extra in a well-known, Hollywood movie is very exciting, but you will need lots of screen time and lots of speaking parts to really get noticed in this business. Short films show your talent."
The final running time of each short film will be between a minimum time of one minute (1:00) and a maximum time of one minute and thirty seconds (1:30).
"All of my short films will be shot in one location, indoors. The film shoot will take no more than 4 hours. I am very flexible with shooting dates and times," Wright added.
"We can film day, night, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday."
In addition, Mr. Wright is offering a demo reel service for actors.
"Drama is great for an actor's demo reel. As an actor, you need a demo reel that shows your ability to act…nothing does that better than drama," Wright added.
"My short films focus on at least one or more of the following basic emotions: joy, trust, fear, surprise, sadness, disgust, anger, or anticipation."
What is the difference between "acting in a short film" and "an actor with a demo reel"?
"An actor's demo reel is video that 'only shows you' and it is the key to landing more acting jobs. A DVD copy of a film is video that you 'appear in' and it is great for entertainment, but it does not focus 'only on you'!"

"You want a demo reel that shows 'only your' ability to act and your 'reaction shots'. My actor's demo reel service really helps you show that you are a talented actor," Wright ended.
