Beauty In Beauty Out Awards Show Chicago 2016

CHICAGO - Sept. 4, 2016 - PRLog -- The Beauty In/Beauty Out Awards is once again returning to its hometown of Chicago, Illinois for its annual awards show. This is the fourth year in a row the BIBO Awards will be held in the Windy City, where it first debuted in 2013. This year's event will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 5:30pm-9pm local time at the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture (www.nmprac.org) located at 3015 West Division Street, Chicago, IL 60622. Chicago's own WGN radio personality David Jennings returns as this year's Master of Ceremonies.

Recently, new categories of awards were created to honor the award winners. This year's list of Honorees presents a veritable "who's who" of the Chicagoland area. For the Outstanding Entrepreneur award, BIBO will be honoring Lerin-Becton Wooten, Dawn Milhouse, Helen Gracie and Dr. Crystal Porter. The award winners for Outstanding Community Cause Leadership include Phyllis Rodgers, Rev. Stacey Edwards-Dunn and Rosita Raglin-Alamin. The Outstanding Educational Leadership award winners include Dr. Jessica Shepherd and Carolyn Day. The Honoree for Outstanding Animal Advocacy is Jena Schreiber and for Outstanding Green Movement Leadership is Angela Mason. Rounding out the award winners is the Legacy of Beauty award, which will be presented to Dr. Sandy Goldberg of NBC and WGN-TV. "We are so excited to have the opportunity once again to honor such stellar women who have given so much of themselves to their respective communities," stated BIBO Founder Traci S. Campbell.

In addition to the list of honorees are an impressive set of presenters seen and heard throughout the Chicago area, including: Roz Varon of ABC7 (BIBO Awards 2015 alumna), Kymberlee Kaye Raya, CEO of Big Shot Marketing and Founder of Fly Girl Fitness (BIBO Awards 2014 alumna), Khaled Elkhatib of Elkhatib Law Firm, Illinois State Senator Kimberly Lightford, Connor Smith of MTV's "Are You The One" and owner of Southside Iron Gym, Tatisa Joiner, breast cancer survivor and Founder of the Tatisa Joiner Foundation (BIBO Awards 2015 alumna), Chris Base of the Chris Base Radio Show, Betsy Shepherd, celebrity event management and consultant, Kenya Simone, radio personality of 106.3 FM Chicago and A.C. Green of the A.C. Green Show 106.3 FM Chicago.

The show will also feature a pledge drive and Silent Auction to benefit The BIBO Foundation, whose mission is to provide education, mentorship and practical support to women in need, women in transition and young career-focused women. The auction and pledge drive will be managed by Givergy.com. After the event, there will be an after party from 9:30pm-11:30pm at the Parliament Chicago & Kensington Rooftop Lounge.
