WAUKESHA, Wis. - Sept. 2, 2016 - PRLog -- National non-profit organization, Operation FINALLY HOME, will join representatives from local Wisconsin builder, Belman Homes, and task force members from the Metropolitan Builders Association, Small Business Growth Partners, Paragon Media, First Federal Bank, Town of Waukesha, Landmark Engineering, M Magazine, S.E.H., Lithocraft, Mid West Sales & Marketing, Inc. and Haylee`s Heroes on Saturday, September 10th to break ground on U.S. Army Specialist, Philip Olson, and his families new home.

"As we embark on this project we would like to thank Philip and his family for all the sacrifices they have made for our country.  They are an extremely deserving family, and this home will give them the stability they need to transition to a civilian life and prosper.  I hope projects like these continue to bring positive awareness to our veterans and there is always more that we can be doing for them.

The response from the community and the building trades for our second Operation Finally Home project in Waukesha has been outstanding.  So many companies and individuals have stepped up to help such a worthy cause and this project would not be possible without their generosity and support.    We are grateful for all the contributions and we are ready to continue Operation Finally Home's mission in Waukesha." - David Belman (President of Belman Homes, Inc.)

WHEN: Saturday, September 10th at 9 a.m.

WHERE: The home site is on Dunbar Avenue between N. West Avenue and Bethesda Court in the Dunbar Oaks neighborhood of the City of Waukesha, WI.

WHO: U.S. Army Specialist, Philip Olson, and his family will be breaking ground on their new mortgage-free home. Philip was an army specialist for 4 years, 10 months as an infantryman and a gunner. He served two tours of duties in Afghanistan. Philip was shot three times during a firefight and was ejected from a vehicle from an IED Blast.  He has Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), PTSD, and leg and spine issues as a result. He is currently a student working towards a degree in Mechanical Design. His wife, Chenoah, is a student at Colorado University studying for a business degree and is on the President's list. She will be transferring to UW to get a graduate degree in economics. They have an 8-year-old son named Jonah. They are a young, well-grounded family with a strong work ethic and Philip's service, achievements, and injuries make him an excellent recipient for an Operation FINALLY HOME house, as he will be able to continue with his education without worrying about a home.

WHY: To honor an American hero.
