Bowser Beer and The Bear & The Rat Call for Beer & Ice Cream Pairings...For Dogs

BOULDER, Colo. - Sept. 1, 2016 - PRLog -- In appreciation of the beer and ice cream pairing trend as well as a nod to Oktoberfest, Bowser Beer and The Bear & The Rat have partnered together to launch a month-long social media contest asking dog owners to pair Bowser Beer, a "beer for dogs" and The Bear & The Rat – an "ice cream" or more specifically, a frozen yogurt for dogs. In order to win one of three prize packs, the entrants need to take a photo of their pairings and tag the brands on Instagram (@BowserBeer and @TheBearAndTheRat). At the end of September, the owners of Bowser Beer and The Bear & The Rat will judge the entries on creativity, originality, and fun. Winners will be announced the first of October.

While beer and frozen treats for dogs may seem offbeat, safe food alternatives for dogs is a trend on the rise due to the humanization of dogs and a growing number of people treating their dogs as members of the family. Bowser Beer and The Bear & The Rat products are marketed as a healthful alternative to beer and ice cream, respectively.
