Trump And Clinton Turned Into Nugs For Comedic Cannabis Cartoon

DENVER - Aug. 31, 2016 - PRLog -- "The Nug Nation" is pleased to announce the release of its second episode, "The Debate." A stop motion comedy series featuring popular strains of cannabis fashioned into animated characters, the potentially controversial short-form program is poised to bring humor to the current political conversation. In "The Debate," Nugville TV personality Bong Burgundy moderates a presidential debate featuring nugified versions of candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Watching from his local gas station, Affy and his conservative employee Diesel find themselves on opposites sides of the aisle -- with disastrous results.

Veteran content producer and creator of "The Nug Nation" Mikey Peterson is enthusiastic about the second episode, which weaves current political events with a series of comedic twists that can be appreciated by liberals and conservatives alike.

"We wanted to bring a sense of humor to the serious political conversation that's gripping the nation," Peterson said. "There's no reason that cannabis content production and creative marketing can't also be political and entertaining."

Co-creator Dylan Pfohl is equally excited about putting a comedic spin on such a serious topic. "We felt like it was time for people to get a break from constant barrage of negative spin from the presidential candidates," Pfohl explained. "We had a blast coming up with ways to find humor in something that's really so irritating."
