Whitesman Named The Best Lawyers® "2017 Corporate Law 'Lawyer of the Year' in Fort Myers"

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Aug. 31, 2016 - PRLog -- Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. is pleased to announce that Best Lawyers in America® has named Guy Whitesman the "2017 Corporate Law 'Lawyer of the Year' in Fort Myers." Only a single lawyer in each specialty in each community is being honored as the "Lawyer of the Year."

Whitesman chairs Henderson Franklin's Business and Tax division and concentrates his practice in mergers and acquisitions, business organization operations and planning and taxation. He also serves as general counsel to a number of the firm's clients.

Whitesman has received much recognition over the years, including being named to Florida Super Lawyers® Magazine (2006-2016) and Best Lawyers in America (2013-2017). He is also AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Whitesman is a long time active member of the Executive Council of the Florida Bar Tax Section and former Chair. He is also a Florida Bar Board Certified tax attorney and past chair of Tax Law Certification Committee. Whitesman is very active in the Southwest Florida community and currently serves as Chair of the Southwest Florida Community Foundation and as a director of Community Cooperative, Inc.
