Follow on Google News | Stunning New Music Video about Gun Violence Released by Jaclyn Bradley PalmerAmerican Singer- songwriter, living abroad in the Netherlands, produces song and music video about an important issue back home, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to support victim's families.
By: Jaclyn Bradley Palmer On October 11th, Palmer released the single and music video for her new song, A Loaded Gun. Her latest project was conceptualized and produced while living abroad in The Netherlands. "Every day, I'd read news from back home" says Palmer, "and it ripped me apart to see the country I love collapse into despair, week after week, without any sign of remedy." She could only cry for her homeland so long, until she felt the need to take action in the best way she knew how- through art. "I decided to write an anthem for change" explained Palmer, "something that reflected both broken hearts and a plea for action." The song was recorded by Milan Ciric at sing-sing studios in Holland and mixed by Pete Mills in Los Angeles, California. Dutch artists Potman Jr. and Gijs van Veldhuizen performed, along with Palmer, on the recording. Then Palmer worked with director, Willem Serné to create a music video to further expand the message. An international cast and crew of 30 people of diverse ethnicities hailed from 5 continents. The short film represents the fallen victims of gun violence and the hope for betterment. "I don't know what the answer is." Palmer said "But it definitely isn't ignoring the problem. My goal is to open up healthy communication that respects both constitutional rights and human life. I love my homeland and I hope through my video and song, I can inspire others to have a voice, for when enough voices are raised, that's when real progress comes." The full video is available for viewing at http://www.jaclynbradleypalmer.com and the new "video remix" single has been released on itunes. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the surviving family members of fallen victims. End
