International interior design niche lands in Las Vegas - via Norway

LAS VEGAS - Aug. 30, 2016 - PRLog -- Children's high-end interior design is about to become the latest "must-have" in Las Vegas, thanks to Jannicke Ramsø and her new company, Tiny Little Pads.

Ramsø previously lent her impeccable taste to Cleo Design, the Hospy Award-winning company behind some of the opulent areas in Encore in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Tampa, Florida, and the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. With Tiny Little Pads, at 817 S. Main St. in downtown Las Vegas, she has branched out on her own.

"It's always been a dream of mine to design luxury interiors under my own name and label," Ramsø said. "However, it wasn't until I had designed my own children's nurseries that the idea of a children's interior design firm was born."

Ramsø began her career in Norway, designing the navigation bridge for famous The World of Residensea, a massive, globe-circumnavigating luxury cruise liner. Later, she moved to Nevada and earned a degree in interior design from The Art Institute of Las Vegas.

Ramsø, who lives in downtown Las Vegas, discovered that no interior designer was offering children's design exclusively in the valley. So she seized the opportunity. As the mother of two children under the age of 4, she knows firsthand what works.

"There are only a handful of interior designers across the U.S. who focus solely on children," she said. "I saw a tremendous opportunity here and started Tiny Little Pads to give busy parents like myself a chance to have beautiful, custom designs for their children without sacrificing their own valuable time to do the necessary research and create these unique spaces. Now, that's where I come in."

Tiny Little Pads' vibrant children's rooms have been featured on major websites including Houzz, Project Nursery, Petit and Small, and Four Cheeky Monkeys. Ramsø offers not only virtual design for parents worldwide, but immaculate, dreamworthy rooms in her all-inclusive service. Everything is covered, from one-of-a-kind ceiling designs down to doorknobs.

Tiny Little Pads also offers party and event planning for children, from concept to execution. Their work has been featured in social-media-savvy Lenzo and Oh It's Perfect, Down Under.

Clients tapping Ramsø's talent can expect to realize their dreams.

"It's all about making a place to encourage growth and spending time together as a family," she said. "My designs — from the colorful Scandinavian Retro to the more opulent designs, all cater to one idea: togetherness."

Ramsø, a Norway native, has just been announced as one of the interior designers for the much anticipated inaugural Las Vegas Showcase House that will open to the public in January 2018. Showcase House events have occurred in major cities all across the US, but this is the first ever in Las Vegas, and it is expected to draw significant attention from both regional and national media.
