PARC'S 47th Annual Black Tie Gala Set for October 8, 2016!

Proceeds from the Gala directly support programs and services at PARC that benefit over 800 children and adults with developmental disabilities.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Aug. 29, 2016 - PRLog -- PARC (http://www.parc-fl.org), a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide opportunities for children and adults with developmental disabilities, will hold its 47th Annual Black Tie Gala on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at The Vinoy in St. Petersburg, FL.

The event dubbed "An Evening of Inspiration" will honor six nominees who exemplify the best in giving back to the community with the Edythe Ibold Humanitarian award. These individuals will be awarded for the many ways they give of themselves to improve the lives of others, just as Edythe Ibold, one of PARC's founders, did nearly 65 years ago. The night will kick off with a silent auction and a cocktail reception. Dinner in the ballroom, a live auction and the Edythe Ibold Award presentations will follow with dancing and entertainment by The Dan Orlando Band.

"Dick Crippen, senior advisor with the Tampa Bay Rays and long-time staple in the Tampa Bay area, and Gayle Guyardo of WFLA's News Channel 8 will co-emcee the Gala," stated Karen Higgins, CEO of PARC. "Both have a history of advocacy for PARC and we're honored to have them at the event again this year," Higgins added.

Individual tickets to the Gala are $175 and sponsorship opportunities are still available which include tickets, cocktails and recognition the night of the event and in the Gala program. The event is sure to sell out! Purchase Tickets Now.
