22 Year Old Outdoor Adventurer Releases e-Book of 90 Poems
Christian Julian Vanderslice of southeastern Pennsylvania has just released his first Kindle eBook of 90 poems, with hopes of publishing a follow up in the next several months.
"An eloquent assemblage of works straight from the heart," is how Chris describes his collection of poetry.
A sample poem from the book:
Slowly different parts of my body are being recalled,
My hearts got faulty wiring
It's not getting love where it needs to go
My brain does this thing where it seems to be on repeat
Seems to be on repeat
Did I say it was on repeat?
I don't know cause my ears don't know what my mouth is saying
And my mouth says things my ears wouldn't understand anyway
My hands can't hold on
I could scale cliffs hundreds of feet
But when it comes to your hands they just can't hold on
I'd walk with you but my feet don't know forward from backward
And I'd say this recall is driving me crazy
But I'm convinced my eyes are creating this illusion
"It's magic! I could not put it down," said Lisa, a 52 year old nurse from Manchester, CT, of the book.
