COLUMBIA, S.C. - Aug. 25, 2016 - PRLog -- On Saturday, October 8 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Newberry, SC, Enoree River Winery will celebrate the fruit of the vine with their annual Newberry Harvest Festival featuring locally crafted wines.

Overlooking the lush vineyard– located 30 minutes northwest of Columbia– the 2016 festival will highlight refreshing, South Carolina wine paired with an afternoon of delicious food, live music and arts and craft exhibits.

While sipping on local wines, guests can relax on their blankets and chairs and enjoy live performances by newcomer to the festival, singer/songwriter, Susan Douglass Taylor and a returning favorite, Bluegrass Remedy featuring Henry Brooks. As music and laughter fills the air, guests can also feast on food truck fare for lunch and snacks throughout the afternoon. Finally, the much anticipated, Cranberry Wine, will make its first appearance of the season and will be available for purchase by the bottle and glass along with other popular wines.

This year Enoree River Winery is offering an early bird discount to guests who call ahead to purchase tickets. These pre-sale tickets will be $10 per guest between September 1-15. Starting September 16, admission will be regular price, $15 per guest. Tickets include a wine tasting that will feature 10 varieties of delectable wines poured in a souvenir glass.

Parking is free. No coolers are allowed. Soft drinks & water will be sold. All attendees over 21 must present a picture id and wear the wristband provided. Guests under 21 are $5 each, and kids under 5 get in free. Visit www.enoreeriverwinery.com for more information or call them at 803-276-2855.

For guests who cannot make it to the Newberry Harvest Festival, Enoree River Winery will continue the wine celebration with a Fall Pack the Porch wine & music series every Sunday in October following the festival weekend. Nestled in the heart of Newberry County, Enoree River Winery is a family-owned and operated vineyard and winery. The 8 acre vineyard was originally planted in 2006 by owners, Richard and Laura LaBarre and other family members. The winery offers guests muscadine, fruit and Vinifera wines for tastings and purchase. The location is also available for private parties, weddings and other special events.
