Project Expedition, a leading discovery and booking resource for tours and activities in travel destinations, today announced the launch of their Split Payments Technology which enables payment processing for individual members of a group reservation.

The Result
The traveler who makes a reservation for a tour no longer has to pay the full cost up front, which means they don't have to chase their travel companions to pay them back.

How It Works
When a traveler books a travel experience for a group of five or more people on Project Expedition, they will have the option to split the cost of the tour among the members of the group. The group leader will input the name and email address of each traveler on the reservation, and the amount they are expected to pay. Project Expedition will then email each member of the group with a secure link to pay their portion of the tour. Once everyone in the group pays, the reservation is processed and confirmed as normal.

So you put down your credit card and some friends pay you in cash, some send you money via an app, some offer to pay you back later, and somehow it never adds up.
