Forespar® Products - Milwaukee Community Sailing Center Raise Funds For Youth Sailing Ctr

IRVINE, Calif. - Aug. 24, 2016 - PRLog -- Forespar® Products, one of the oldest established marine hardware manufacturers in the nation and the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center announced a collaboration to raise charity funds to honor long-time industry professional and former Forespar® sales manager, William (Bill) Mosher.

Also, the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center will rename its popular annual lobster boil fundraiser in Mosher's honor -  as the Bill Mosher Memorial Lobsta Boil.  During the event, held on the MCSC grounds on, August 27, 2016, a memorial "rock" and plaque will be dedicated in honor of Mosher's lifelong efforts.

These contributions combine individual donations from Forespar® employees, Milwaukee Community Sailing Center members, and a matching donation from Forespar® based on the received amount  The funds exceeded $7200 as of August 19, 2016.

Hired as the original Executive Director of the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center in 1979, Mosher was a strong force in establishing and driving the organization forward throughout the years. When he unexpectedly passed away in July 2015, Forespar® offered to donate matching funds for contributions made to the MCSC in Mosher's name. One year later the campaign's funds were tallied and more than $7000+ total donations, which help fund a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) youth sailing program and to help fund a needed "new" safety boat.
