Pop Singer-Songwriter Jonathan Cavier Releases Duran Duran Cover "Save a Prayer"

LOS ANGELES - Aug. 25, 2016 - PRLog -- Pop singer-songwriter Jonathan Cavier is excited to announce the release of his version of Duran Duran's classic "Save a Prayer". This single is now available as the first release from the brand new "Cavier Covers" series, in which Jonathan covers songs that are important to his musical life. "Save a Prayer" is available now at iTunes and all major digital outlets.

Jonathan Cavier has been a fan of Duran Duran since 1982, and cites meeting the group on the California leg of their Rio tour as a "life-changing moment" which inspired him to pick up the keyboard. Because Duran Duran is one ofCavier's musical heroes, he thought it only fitting to release "Save a Prayer" as the first "Cavier Cover" – remembering Duran Duran releasing a cover of "Fame" as a tribute to their own musical hero, David Bowie.

Originally from Northern California, Cavier (pronounced "cav-AIR") has been based in Phoenix, AZ for several years and up until recently was performing as Alan Clark in atmospheric pop duo EyeTalk.
