New, Free App Connects Service Providers & Customers locally

Fort Lauderdale, FL August 23, 2016- Pipe broken and water is flooding the house, grass is up to your knees, or maybe you just need a ride or a massage, with the recently released nextminuteapp you can get immediate assistance to solve a host of problems or personal needs.

Developed by Next Minute, Inc., nextminuteapp, now is available for free for both Apple and Android. The concept behind nextminuteapp is to connect service providers with customers in real time inside the same local area for immediate service calls. When a service provider is available they turn on the "available" sign in the app and when a regular user opens the app and selects a service category they see who is available on the map of the local area. Users can then click on a service provider to see a full profile including ratings and reviews from other users.

When a user clicks on a provider they can call, text or request with one click. If there is a request made a notice is sent to the customer and the provider gets directions on their phone (and to a destination in the case of driving/pick-up/delivery type services) while the user can see the provider approaching on the map. When the service is completed, both parties are requested to rate and review the other for the benefit of other app users.

Nextminuteapp is targeted at everyone and a user can switch to a service provider and vice-versa at any time. Typical service provider groups are:

·         Professionals working for a business or as independent contractors

·         Unemployed people

·         Students/Youth looking to make some money in their spare time

Users/Customers can be both private individuals or businesses

"We live in a society where many, if not most, desire immediate gratification and do not want to wait hours, days or weeks to get something done," said Rolv E. Heggenhougen, CEO of Next Minute Inc. "We want it now as 'now' is convenient to us, the customer. Furthermore, there are professionals that have time between appointments and would like to make extra money; the unemployed that want to find work and there are students/youth that want to find work when they have spare time".

Heggenhougen added that before the launch of the patent pending app users/customers would have to search for the service professional and start making phone calls as there's no way to know who's actually available right now and in the same area! Now, with nextminuteapp, it's as easy as a click or two and the service providers pop up on the map.

The app is currently available in English, German and Norwegian but translations to all European languages and Chinese is underway. Currently there are about 80-90 service categories ranging from drivers/chauffeurs to trades people such as plumbers, electricians, appliance repair, food trucks, carpenters, massage, nails, real estate agents and many more.

The app is free and any payment transactions (or expense contributions for friends driving friends) is purposely held outside the app and left to the parties to figure out.
