Handshake Software and NetDocuments Partner to Deliver Portal Capabilities within Legal DMS

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Aug. 23, 2016 - PRLog -- Handshake Software, Inc., the market leading, award-winning provider of SharePoint-based products and services to the legal market, and NetDocuments, the leading Software-as-a-Service document and email management (DMS) provider for law firms and corporate legal departments, today announced the release of Handshake Portals for NetDocuments.  This new product, developed by Handshake Software and based on its core product architecture, provides a comprehensive portal environment within the NetDocuments DMS user interface.  NetDocuments customers can now view and interact with integrated, contextualized Financial, CRM, HR, news, and legal research information about clients and matters all from within their DMS.

The Handshake Portals for NetDocuments solution extends Handshake Software's popular products to deliver portal functionality in NetDocuments without requiring SharePoint.  Handshake Software customers running NetDocuments can leverage all of their Handshake-SharePoint portal capabilities through the new product including integrations of leading legal line of business applications, legal research and various third party integrations.  In addition, law firms who currently don't utilize SharePoint can now provide users with the rich Handshake portal and intranet functionality in NetDocuments without installing SharePoint.
