Barkley Square Professional Pet Services Participating in Fundraiser for Louisiana Dogs

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Aug. 23, 2016 - PRLog -- Barkley Square Professional Pet Services and The Pet Spa at Barkley Square are proud to be participating in a much-needed fundraiser for the animals of southern Louisiana in the midst of historic flooding in that state. The fundraiser will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the Orange Anchor Dock Bar in Washington, DC.

"Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, Sept. 14, for a "yappy hour" (yes, dogs are welcome!) to benefit Louisiana's animals! Multiple shelters are under water due to the recent flooding in a state that already has far too many strays and not enough homes", said Katie O'Henry, the event's organizer.

Kristina Robertson, President of Barkley Square said, "Barkley Square is so happy to be able to participate in this wonderful event.  We thank Ms. McHenry and the rest of the event organizers for their compassion toward the animals of Louisiana."

Orange Anchor Dock Bar is generously donating proceeds from $5 Jell-O shots and $20 "Whale Bones" (large orange tumblers that can be refilled with orange crushes, margaritas, beer, etc anytime at Orange Anchor for just $10), as well as a percentage of the evening's bar proceeds.
