Mr. Jackson is committed to serving those that have served our country so valiantly and making a difference in his hometown of Las Vegas, NV. Together with Mr. Jackson's commitment and a comprehensive team of public and private partners Veterans Village Las Vegas' master plan for affordable housing for United States Veterans is well underway.

Earlier this year, Veterans Village announced their master plan to house homeless United States Veterans in Las Vegas.  The master plan includes the construction of two additional facilities that will provide housing and services for our veterans in need.  Upon completion of the construction of the second campus an additional 204 units will be available for Veterans in need and their families.  Additionally with the completion of the third site the master plan will increase the total number of living units offered by Veterans Village to 376 units.

Steven Jackson quote:

"
Las Vegas is home for me.  Although I've had the privilege of going away for college and playing for multiple teams representing several cities during my 12 year career, the one thing that hasn't changed for me is home.  Las Vegas is where I was born, it's where I was raised and where I've spent every off season.  Whenever, I can do something so significant as this in my community I'm honored and humbled. For me, this was a little personal; If this helps me honor and thank my father and grand father who are both veterans along with all the men and women who serve and fight for our freedom it is my pleasure and I'm beyond grateful for their service and sacrifice".

Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman quote:

"Arnold and Veterans Village have been a force in helping Las Vegas to bring the number of homeless veterans in our community to functional zero," Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman said. "It is amazing that now, through the generosity of so many who care so much and want to help and in particular the incredible support of one of our home grown sports stars, we will have a second Veterans Village to offer even more services and housing for our veterans."

Arnold Stalk quote:

"We are humbled, honored and grateful that Mr. Jackson has stepped up and help us complete our financing to open Veterans Village #2. This is truly a public/private partnership to end United States Veteran homelessness".
