NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - Aug. 22, 2016 - PRLog -- Eve Brackmann, a founding partner of Stuart Kane LLP, has been elected to serve as a Chapter Board Member for the University of San Diego (USD) Orange County Law Alumni Board. As a board member she will serve as an ambassador for the USD School of Law and actively promote alumni programs and outreach to her fellow alumni. Ms. Brackmann is honored to serve her alma mater and looks forward to being a resource to local alumni and law students.

For more than a decade, Ms. Brackmann has focused her practice on business and real estate matters, with particular expertise in real estate and business litigation. Her clients include private investors as well as companies in a variety of markets, such as a national grocery chain, real estate brokers, developers, landowners, banks, emerging growth companies, a national defense contractor, and national and international product manufacturers and distributors in a variety of sectors including apparel, commercial building components, and clean-energy technology.

While an aggressive litigator and winning appellate practitioner, Ms. Brackmann also has an excellent settlement record. She has obtained highly favorable settlements for her clients through both mediation and informal negotiation, prior to incurring the expense of prolonged litigation, arbitrationor trial.

In the community, Ms. Brackmann has served as a judge for a California Indian tribe, as president of the Project Hope School Foundation Board serving at-risk children in Orange County, and she currently serves as an arbitrator on the Orange County Bar Association's Mandatory Fee Arbitration Panel. She recently ended a three-year term as a Director on the statewide Board of the Conference of California Bar Associations. Ms. Brackmann regularly speaks on legal topics ranging from property valuation to civil procedure and commercial unlawful detainer, and has taught at the Orange County Bar Association "Bridging the Gap" seminars since 2013. In 2009, she made AmLaw's Top 100 list for a widely acclaimed pro-bono case.

Ms. Brackmann was selected to the 2016 Southern California Super Lawyers list, as well as 2013 and 2014 Super Lawyers "Rising Stars" list. Other recent awards include the 2014 "Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year" award from the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Real Property Section, the Los Angeles Magazine 2013 "Top Women Attorneys" and 2014 "Outstanding Young Lawyers", and nomination for the 2015 Orange County Business Journal "Women in Business" award.

Ms. Brackmann was also Stuart Kane's lead contributing attorney for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 World Bank "Doing Business" report on Real Property around the globe.
