Lee Enterprises Consulting Adds Renewable Chemicals Team

SHERWOOD, Ark. - Aug. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- Lee Enterprises Consulting, the world's premier bio-economy consulting group, is pleased to announce the addition of new experts and a new section within the group, which now numbers over 100 experts in its biodiesel, ethanol, emerging technologies, biomass power, renewable chemicals, and business & finance sections.  The consulting group added Joel Stone, a respected leader in commercialization of industrial biotechnology, and Jeff Olling, an Australian clean energy international relations expert.

Stone has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic University; and an M.S. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He is the President of ConVergInce Advisers and serves on the Technical Advisory Board for the BioRenewable Deployment Consortium.  Stone formerly served as President of Green Biologics Inc. where he led the development of the commercial platform of the company in North America for renewable n-butanol for use in the renewable chemical markets and ultimately "advanced" biofuels.  Prior to his role with Green Biologics, Stone was CIO of Osage Bio Energy, and as the Chief Operating Officer for both AS Alliances Biofuels LLC and Abengoa Bioenergy Corporation.  Stone will lead Lee Enterprises Consulting's newly formed renewable chemicals team.

Olling is from Australia, holds both Law and Arts degrees, and an Honours degree in international relations.  He practiced as a Barrister in both the public and private legal sectors for many years prior to entering the energy sector in 2011 as Manager of Government Relations, Policy and Sustainability for ATCO Australia (a subsidiary of the world-wide ATCO Group (Canada)). Olling has advised on political issues impacting renewable energy, formulating strategic policy positions, and managing the company's interests in climate change and sustainability.  He previously served as Project Manager  of Policy and Regulatory Review for Horizon Power (a Australian government-owned, energy corporation), and will be Lee Enterprises Consulting's liaison to projects in Australia and the Pacific Rim.
