SEWELL, N.J. - Aug. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- The Gloucester County Italian Heritage Commission invites food vendors, craft vendors, artisans and exhibitors to participate in the 13th Annual Italian Heritage Festival of Gloucester County. We also welcome advertisers and sponsors who would like to reach thousands of people in the community.

This year's festival will be held September 25, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Riverwinds Community Center in West Deptford, NJ. It is a rain or shine event.

The Festival offers a cost-effective way for vendors and businesses to connect with thousands of new customers. Each year, the Festival draws 7,000-10,000 people of all ages from the tri-state area and beyond.

Vendor spaces are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis. All applications must be submitted by September 10. Fashioned after an Italian street fair, the Italian Heritage Festival of Gloucester County promises a day of family fun and a great opportunity to experience authentic Italian culture. This year's headliner is Enrico Capuano & T_Rock, from Rome, who is returning after a crowd-pleasing performance in 2014.  Also returning are La Fata Italiana (the Italian Fairy), a favorite of "kids" of all ages, and Dr. Neff's Incredible Sicilian Marionettes, and much more.

Veteran vendor Nino Apadula, of Gianino's Pastries ( of Washington Township, explains, "We love being vendors at the annual Italian Heritage Festival… And while we're having fun, our table is always crowded and we connect with lots of new customers."

The mission of the GC Italian Heritage Commission formed is to preserve and promote traditional Italian culture and to encourage the study of the Italian language. The Festival is made possible in part by funds from the NJ State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, and the GC Cultural & Heritage Commission at Rowan College at Gloucester County.
