Fall AutoFest Returns to the SUN 'n FUN Campus in Lakeland Starting November 10

CARLISLE, Pa. - Aug. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- Time flies when you're having fun and that is most certainly true when you're Carlisle Events, the internationally known company that promotes some of the world's largest classic and collector car shows.  It was just last year that this brand of fun debuted in Lakeland and now Fall Florida AutoFest returns once again.  This year's show runs November 10-13 in Lakeland at the spacious SUN 'n FUN Expo Campus and features a car show, collector car auction, swap meet and vendors with various automotive products for sale.

It all starts on November 10 as the grounds come to life with decades of excitement available.  Nearly 100 years of history stands front and center for all to see as part of the car show.  There's even more classics on display (and for sale) via the auction and car corral too.  Plus, for car owners who love to show off their prized rides, the aforementioned Fall AutoFest car show offers multi-day excitement, a judged showfield, awards and special perks for car clubs who participate.

Friday, November 11 shifts from low gear to high in the blink of an eye.  This is the day that the car show itself launches, including a special gathering with Team Shelby.  The enthusiasts from Team Shelby will host its grand cruise in and kick off a weekend long celebration of Ford and one of its most popular pioneers, the late Carroll Shelby.  The Team Shelby event includes a cruise in, night time car show and cook out, special awards and just maybe…maybe, some guests associated with the brand.  Team Shelby will showcase the rare and very rentable Shelby GT-H Hertz Rental car as well as classic versions of the same style car from 2007, 2006 and 1965.

Along with the Team Shelby activities, the overall car show will be showcasing a wide array of classics, including an orphan car display hosted by the Chrysler-Maserati TC America Club.  All types of orphan cars are invited to participate.

Fall AutoFest in Lakeland also gives each and every guest an automotive thrill with a two-day classic and collector car auction, swap meet and car corral.  In the case of the auction and car corral, vehicles are for sale, while the swap meet welcomes vendors looking to sell original and aftermarket automotive accessories and collectibles.
