PHILADELPHIA - Aug. 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Keiretsu Forum Mid-Atlantic (K4-MA), the industry leading angel investment firm, has recently announced its full meeting schedule for all local area chapters for the month of August. These forum meetings are intended to allow like-minded individuals to discuss current industry topics and breaking news along with means of success. They are also designed to serve as one of the best networking opportunities available today for entrepreneurs that are in search of potential investors for their start-up businesses.

Leading business publication Forbes recently conducted an interview with Tugce Ergul, the co-founder and executive director of Angel Labs, to talk about the current angel investment landscape and where she sees things going moving forward – especially in terms of opportunities and diversity. Ergul indicated that the need for ongoing investor education was one of the most pressing concerns in the angel-investing world. She specifically mentioned investors who saw investing in technology as a "very exclusive club" that was hard to break into and once they did, ended up making a number of costly mistakes due to a general lack of understanding regarding the way things really work.

Ergul also indicated that as only 6% of partner level jobs at venture capital funds were currently held by women, tackling diversity will become a significant priority of both the angel and the venture capital world moving forward.

The Keiretsu Forum Mid-Atlantic New York Chapter will hold its upcoming K4-MA August meeting on August 23 at Baker Hostetler, on the 14th floor of 45 Rockefeller Plaza in New York. The 3.5-hour meeting will run from the hours of 8:30AM to 12:00PM.

The Keiretsu Forum Mid-Atlantic Philadelphia Chapter will hold its upcoming K4-MA August meeting on August 24 at Baker Hostetler, on the 12th floor of The Cira Center at 2929 Arch Street in Philadelphia. The 3.5-hour meeting will run from the hours of 8:00AM to 11:30PM.

The Keiretsu Forum Mid-Atlantic Washington, D.C. Metro Chapter will hold its upcoming K4-MA August meeting on August 25 at Baker Hostetler, at 1050 Connecticut Avenue, NW Washington D.C. The 3.5-hour meeting will run from the hours of 9:00AM to 12:30PM.

The Keiretsu Forum Mid-Atlantic Pittsburgh Chapter will hold its upcoming K4-MA August meeting on August 26, hosted by Schnader Harrison, at the Engineers Society of Western PA, 337 Fourth Avenue, Pittsburgh. The 3.5-hour meeting will run from the hours of 8:30AM to 12:00PM.
