Za's on Devine Hosts Live, Local Music Series

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Aug. 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Customers at Za's on Devine – the neighborhood go-to for fresh, seasonal dishes and salads, Italian-inspired classics, wood-fired pizzas and hand-picked wines – can sip, relax and listen to live, local music each Wednesday and Friday evening.

Located in the Devine Street shopping and dining district of Columbia, S.C., Za's serves as a one-stop locale for fresh bites from a new seasonal menu, refined yet value-priced wines, and live entertainment Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and Friday nights from 7 to 10 p.m. Local musicians' styles range from acoustic covers of fan favorites to debuts of original works ­– on Za's covered patio or in the distinctive bar area.

Musicians include Jon Rooks, who layers beats and loops via pedals with guitar and keyboard to create a bold, alternative acoustic sound; Mark Beacham and Friends, who covers hits spanning several decades, punctuated by Beacham's rough, soulful voice; and Emily Wells, a rising local musician who sings and strums covers of modern chart-toppers. Americana artist Brandon Reeves is a special guest in September, performing at Za's as part of his regional tour.
