By: SAMMinistries In a two-part initiative, SAMMinistries recruits and screens appropriate candidates. Partnering employers then provide a 12-week training period with a consideration of permanent employment after. Through a generous grant from JP Morgan Chase, SAMMinistries reimburses employers for 50% of the trainee's wage during the initial period and oversees the employee's progress. "We provide screened candidates and partial wage reimbursement, so that businesses can spend less time searching and lower their training expenses, while at the same helping someone earn a living wage" said Navarra Williams, SAMMinistries President and CEO. "This program helps everyone succeed." This win-win program is designed to bridge the "skills gap" by training and preparing individuals for employment in the high-demand fields of healthcare, information technology, and manufacturing. These skills offer hope and open the door to living-wage employment, enabling individuals to support their families.
