SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Aug. 16, 2016 - PRLog -- Christensen Law announces the winner of its first-ever Distracted Driving Awareness Scholarship. After receiving close to 20 entries for this year's scholarship, Joshua Hardin, 22, of Searcy, Arkansas, has been named this year's recipient.

The scholarship kicked off in May as the Southfield law firm's commitment to helping students who are in need of financial assistance to pay for college, while raising awareness of the tragic impact of distracted driving. As the winner, Josh wrote a compelling five-page chronicle entitled "Would Keith Survive?" The story follows two friends and the ease in which distracted driving can take place in today's society.

An advocate for victims of sex trafficking in his home state of Arkansas, Josh served as the president of H.U.manity (Harding University's anti-human trafficking club) and currently assists PATH (Partners against the Trafficking of Humans). Josh graduated last year from Harding University with a dual bachelor's degree in psychology and criminal justice. He is heading to the Bowen School of Law this fall.
