STW Wins Innovation Award From BOMAG

NORCROSS, Ga. - Aug. 12, 2016 - PRLog -- STW, a premier manufacturer of mobile controllers and measurement technology, has won an innovation award from BOMAG, the international market leader in the compaction technology sector.

BOMAG, is a global market leader in compaction technology and manufactures soil, asphalt and refuse compaction equipment, as well as stabilizers and recyclers.

For over 20 years now, STW has supplied control units, I/O modules, sensors and operating and display elements in a mixture of standard products and customer-specific systems to BOMAG. The award was based on BOMAG's appreciation of the readiness of STW to always strike out on new paths in the development and adaptation of the products. STW was able to meet BOMAG's requirements to build robust solutions.

STW received the award for the collaborative development of the "Economizer". The "Economizer" is a display unit for compaction conditions which links and assesses the sensor data using specially-developed algorithms.

The recent focus of STW regarding the support of data management and connectivity with innovative on-board modules and associated cloud services has also impressed the company.

Along with the innovation award, STW also won a supplier of the Year 2016 certificate.
