Reliance Communication Rolls out MoviNet Plan to Boost Content Consumption

NEW DELHI - Aug. 12, 2016 - PRLog -- Reliance Communications (RCOM) - the telco giant led by Anil Ambani launched a new data plan named 'MoviNet' with the motive to attract more data users. The newly launched data plan includes music, movies and Internet access, where the users will enjoy subscription to the library of Hungama Play's 'Entertainment-on-Demand' services free of cost, along with 'Any-Use Data'. 'MoviNet' data pack will also allow subscribers to avail subscription free, unlimited access to a library consisting over 8000 exclusive movies.

The company is launching its new data pack at an affordable amount of Rs235 per month, offering 2.5 GB of high-speed 'Any-Use Data', including 1.25 GB of 'Any-Time Data' access and 1.25 GB of night data.

The offer is not only meant for pre-paid customers, but is also available for the post-paid customers at a monthly rental of Rs 450, where the customers will get subscription-free access to an 'Entertainment-on-Demand' library, 3GB of data allowance along with 1000 minutes of local and STD calls.

"This innovative pack is aimed at bridging the gap that customers face between data and content," Gurdeep Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Consumer Business at RCOM said.

Gurdeep Singh added that with the design simplicity, thrilling and engaging content with greater data benefits, the MoviNet Plan will boost the entertainment quotient and raise the level of customer experience.

RCOM also conducted a study recently which showed that while music and movies are the vital factors to boost content consumption, most people hesitate to subscribe for premium licensed video content due to high subscription fees.
