Carriage Trade Public Relations and Cecilia Russo Marketing Select Brooke Sheeler as Fall Intern

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Aug. 10, 2016 - PRLog -- Pennsylvania native, Brooke Sheeler has been selected for the fall public relations internship with Carriage Trade Public Relations™, Inc. and Cecilia Russo Marketing, LLC. Sheeler is a May 2016 graduate from Slippery Rock University. She majored in public relations and minored in business administration.

Sheeler's responsibilities include media relations, writing press releases and awards, search engine optimization, researching keywords, social media management, and community relations.

Throughout her time as an undergraduate student, Sheeler served as the Special Events Chair for her PRSSA chapter, Rock PRoductions. She was also the Public Relations Chair for a club called Up 'til Dawn. This is an organization that hosts an event from midnight to 6:00 a.m. and raises money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Slippery Rock raised a total of $16,000 for the hospital in February 2016.

"I am thrilled for this opportunity and can't wait to start my career," said Sheeler. "Slippery Rock has given me endless opportunities and I can take those to learn in this internship."

She will be furthering her studies at West Virginia University with a master's degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications while simultaneously working with Carriage Trade PR and Cecilia Russo Marketing.

Sheeler is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. She enjoys spending her free time with friends, and traveling to new destinations. Sheeler graduated from Somerset Area Senior High School in 2012 and is the daughter of Robert and Tammy Sheeler.
