The songwriting for New York was inspired during Oliver Sean's last summer tour. It shows his love of NYC in an uplifting composition style attributed to Oliver Sean.

"Lyrically it's a love song, but is it for a woman or for the greatest city ever? That is something you have to decide after listening to the song," says Oliver. "I brought in two American artists to join me on this song; PM from Maryland did the Rap section that I call hair raising Rap! And Stacey Schulman from NYC joined in with harmony and jazz improvs."
