LAS VEGAS - Aug. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Hobak Korean BBQ serves up traditional Korean food in a hip, casual and comfortable atmosphere. Since the Las Vegas franchise opened in April at 5808 Spring Mountain Road in Chinatown, the restaurant has become a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. Some love the great taste of marinated beef cooked tableside, served with traditional Korean side dishes. Others never tried Korea BBQ, but are adventurous and want to try something new. In any case, Hobak Korean BBQ's Master Chef/Owner Chi Heon Kim (a.k.a. Kimchi) offers a few helpful tips for smart ordering.

Online reviews. Although the restaurant enjoys an average of 5 stars for reviews on YELP, it's not unusual for customers to boast about their grilling skills and that "they prefer to cook their own meat!" In reality, "For most diners it's fine to allow the server to cook the food," says Master Chef Kimchi. "That's because each server is a mini chef, highly trained to cook the meat to how customers would like. It makes the entire experience more unique and personalized." New visitors are better off paying attention to other things.

Look for clues in the menu. "Some of the most popular items are pictured and have written descriptions in Korean and English. Having the image to go along with the description of the item goes a long way in helping you decide what to order," suggested Master Chef Kimchi.

Look for a friendly face. Not sure what side dish to order? No worries. Koreans are proud of their food and culture, "so that means servers are genuinely eager to help you order the perfect dish," Master Chef Kimchi added. "Interacting with your server will bring more fun and good energy to the table. In Korea, good food and family-atmospheres bring people together."

Familiarize yourself with a few dishes. Korean BBQ is known for instant cooking and eating. It's also known as a "gateway" to explore Korean food.Hobak Korean BBQ offers traditional Korean favorites such as Kimchi stew (soup), Grilled Spicy Pork Belly, Steamed Egg Pot, and Rice Pop Ice Cream dessert. "It pays to know at least a few favorites and expand from there," Master Chef Kimchi said.

Hobak Korean BBQ Las Vegas is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 a.m. The restaurant is good for groups (Hobak in Korean means "Sharing Great Things"), and offers a Timeless 80s themed hip, casual, and comfortable dining experience with popular K-pop music in the background and Korean movie posters on the walls.
