In addition, he will work on strategic partnerships with media organizations and publishers. As the Community Outreach and Education Manager, Elizabeth Green will deepen FMC's on-the-ground presence by coordinating high-impact events. She will develop subscriber content in The Chronicle of Social Change with a focus on funding opportunities and trends in philanthropy. Slattery and Green were both students in Media for Policy Change, a course that Heimpel teaches at USC's Sol Price School of Public Policy. After completing the course, Slattery and Green each worked for Fostering Media Connections as summer fellows. In May, they both earned master's degrees through the Price School.
