Denis Welch Motorsport at the 44th Oldtimer Grand Prix

BURTON ON TRENT, U.K. - Aug. 5, 2016 - PRLog -- The 44th Oldtimer Grand Prix event takes place 12th-14th August 2016 at the world famous Nürburgring circuit in Germany. Over 60,000 visitors and more than 500 cars will competing over the three day meeting on the modern 4.63Km GP circuit.

Denis Welch Motorsport will be attending the event to support a number of cars across three different races.

Jaguar Classic Challenge

Saturday 13th August sees the 4th round of the 2016 Jaguar Classic Challenge. The first 3 races have been won by Julian Thomas in his Jaguar E-Type which has been built and prepared by Denis Welch Motorsport. The car is a real showcase for the growing range of Jaguar E-Type Performance Parts. The previous rounds have seen very close and exciting racing and this race is expected to be no different.

Gentleman Drivers for Pre 1965 GT Cars

On Sunday 14th August there will be a Gentleman Drivers race for pre 1965 GT cars. The field will include a wide variety of cars including the Austin Healey 3000 of Nils-Fredrik Nyblaeus who will co-drive with Jeremy Welch who will be competing at the Nürburgring for the first time in 10 years!

FIA Lurani Trophy for Formula Junior Cars

The Lotus 20 of Manfredo Rossi Di Montelera and the Lotus 20B of Mark Pangborn will both be running in the FIA Lurani Trophy for Formula Junior Cars. There will be two races over the weekend and the combined results determining the points.
