Ayar Law Group's Growing Practice Supports Michigan's Economy with Local Hires

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Aug. 2, 2016 - PRLog -- The Ayar Law Group has experienced steady growth over the past three years, prompting the need to add one new attorney and additional support staff to the firm annually. The firm, headquartered in Southfield, Michigan, added attorneys Alan Shamoun in 2014, Ramy Shabana in 2015, and recently announced the addition of Metro-Detroit native Lawrence Kajy to their Michigan offices.

"We are literally out-growing our office ... for the fifth time," said Venar Ayar, principal and founding tax attorney for Ayar Law Group. "It's a nice problem to have. We want to keep growing the firm with attorneys who've earned undergrad degrees from Michigan universities, and law degrees locally, from places like the University of Detroit Mercy. Ayar Law Group's most recent hire, Lawrence Kajy, is the result of the firm's steady client growth in the specialized arenas of state, federal, and international tax law.

Kajy grew up in West Bloomfield, Michigan and graduated from Walled Lake High School. The son of immigrant parents, he spent the majority of his youth working in the family business (several small family-owned stores in and around Detroit), and was slated for a presumed career there, until his brother unselfishly assumed responsibility for Lawrence's role in the family business to allow him to follow his dream of becoming an attorney.

Kajy earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2015, where he served as the director of academic affairs to the Arab and Chaldean Law Student Association. He also served as a junior member of the University of Detroit Mercy Law Review and Moot Court Board of Advocates, interned for the public defender's office at the 36^th District Court in Detroit, representing indigent clients as a court appointed attorney, and assisted disabled veterans at the UDM Veterans Law Clinic.
