The course will feature a series of courses comprised of military-inspired fitness exercises through the unique reserve dedicated to outdoor adventures – through forests, hills, and creeks that run along the Little Miami River for an all-out, all-encompassing Obstacle Course Race experience.
Amongst the OCR community, King's Domain is recognized as a staple location as it is a permanent obstacle course. This design allows for a unique and diverse approach to course creation throughout the varying elevation of the reserve. Featuring ravines, creek beds, and rolling hills, this year's event will be designed to test the mind, body, and spirit of participants for all ages and skill levels. King's Domain also served as the host of the annual Obstacle Course Racing World Championships for the past two years as it is considered by many to be the place "where champions run." OCR enthusiasts will be excited to see what twists, turns, and triumphs the experts at BattleFrog will be coming up with. The course will be designed to test the body, mind and spirit, regardless of one's fitness and experience level. BattleFrog courses each serve as tributes to the Navy SEALS as well as all members of the armed forces who have served and continue to serve in harm's way. The BattleFrog Southeast Ohio event will host four options, including the BattleFrog Xtreme (BFX) and BattleFrog Elite 16 KM event, The Signature 8KM race for athletes and families and the 400m Tadpole Dash for children ages 4 to 8.
