This event, designed for clinicians and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with heart failure, will be held on October 1, 2016 at the Crowne Plaza hotel in King of Prussia from 8 AM until 4 PM. Included will be an overview of congestive heart failure, pathophysiology, diagnosis and medical management, presented by Robert A. Watson III, MD, FACC, one of the region's top cardiologists. Other topics include infusion therapy in the management of heart failure, tele-monitoring in home health care, safe and effective exercise prescription in heart failure, pulmonary pressure monitoring to reduce readmissions, caring for the complex heart failure patient and factors impacting adherence and compliance. This event is open to RN's, PT's, OT's, MSW's, Nursing Home Administrators and Nurse Case Managers. Southeastern Home Health Services has applied for six CEU's.
