Local real estate brokerage maintains high level of service through continuing education of agents

ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Aug. 1, 2016 - PRLog -- Kensington Real Estate Brokerage, a local boutique real estate firm with offices at 214 North Main Street in Attleboro, MA, and 30 Newbury Street, Boston, MA, is proud to announce that one of their agents, Laurie Drucker, has recently earned the designation of Graduate, REALTOR® Institute by Massachusetts Association of REALTORS®, a program that meets the rigid standards set by the National Association of REALTORS® to provide education and training in real estate.

The GRI designation signifies 90 hours of advanced real estate education; REALTORS® who have passed the GRI examination are recognized as having attained one of the highest professional levels in residential real estate. "It's no surprise to me that Laurie has achieved this designation, as her goal in her business has always been to educate herself and others," says Sheryle DeGirolamo, owner of Kensington Real Estate Brokerage. "She is a perfectionist with a lot of information and expertise to share with buyers and sellers." Ms. Drucker adds, "Things are always changing in this business, so you have to stay up to date on technology, trends, etc. The GRI program provided me with a comprehensive overview of the real estate business, which will help me offer a higher level of  service to my clients."

Ms. Drucker begins educating her clients early in the process. "I see the REALTOR®/client relationship as a partnership. Your realtor is a member of your team when you're selling your house, so when I'm educating the client, I call it team building," she says. I work closely with each seller to create a marketing plan that's customized to their house, find unique ways to target the buying niche, and deliberately expose properties to the right audience." (These programs are regularly scheduled at the Kensington office, but can also be offered onsite for employee development programs.) The process begins with getting the home ready for sale, conducting repairs, and prioritizing the details that make a property more attractive in a market that demands pristine, move-in-ready houses. "It's a lot of work to do it well, but it's worth it," says Ms. Drucker. "After all, your home investment  is a transaction that will total anywhere from one-quarter to three-quarters of a million dollars. What would you do to get the best possible ROI/return on that investment?"
