Independent Business Association of Wisconsin (IBAW) rapidly gaining new members

Milwaukee business association's membership grows 30% from 2015.

BROOKFIELD, Wis. - July 30, 2016 - PRLog -- The Independent Business Association of Wisconsin (IBAW) is quickly gaining new members during the first half of 2016. New member growth rate is up 30% from 2015.

Steve Kohlmann, executive director of IBAW, said, "IBAW's growth is affirmation of our programming, that business owners want to be engaged with their peers, and they do want to have a voice with their elected officials in Madison and Washington D.C. when it comes to issues pertaining to small, independent business."

New members to date include Bentley Management, Milwaukee; Tevetron, New Berlin; VaxPro, LLC, Mequon; JSA/Metaline Corp., Mequon; JSD Professional Services, Waukesha; Hammond Company, Brookfield; Epic Resins, Inc., Palmyra; Wisconsin Firearms Training Center, Brookfield; Business-Fitness, Mequon; PNC Bank, Milwaukee; and Xorbix, Delafield.

Additional new members are Waukesha State Bank, Waukesha; Endpoint Solutions, Franklin; TKO Miller, Milwaukee; Wisconsin Lutheran College, Wauwatosa; Process Machine & Automation, Glendale; Stier Construction, Waukesha; The Rauser Agency, Milwaukee; Milwaukee Truck Service, New Berlin, and Vx Group, Cedarburg.

The IBAW membership encompasses manufacturing, service, distribution, healthcare, technology, financial, consulting and others. A statewide, non-profit association, IBAW members and sponsors employ thousands of Wisconsin workers.

Since 1973, the Independent Business Association of Wisconsin (IBAW) was formed for small business owners to engage in conversation relating to legislation which impacts the bottom-line costs of businesses throughout the state of Wisconsin. IBAW is a venue for high level CEOs, CFOs, COOs, other upper management and entrepreneurs to network, exchange business ideas and become educated and involved on issues which impact their business.
