Hundreds Join Golden Lion in Celebrating Their Best Beach Bar Award!

PALM COAST, Fla. - July 30, 2016 - PRLog -- Christopher Marlow, Managing Director of the Golden Lion Café, is pleased to announce that they welcomed hundreds of friends, customers and well-wishers to the restaurant on July 22^nd from 6:00pm to 11:00pm for a presentation and to celebrate their Top Beach Bar award. They were voted a Top Beach Bar for the fifth year in a row, and the number one Beach Bar on the East Coast of Florida for the second year in a row by FloridaBeachBars.com. Representatives from FloridaBeachBar.com presented the award to Chris, Carolyn and Tony Marlow.

The celebration included fireworks at dusk by local close-proximity and indoor pyrotechnics manufacturer Santore & Sons, a jet flyover from Blue Sky Yakrobatics, a confetti blast , live music, drink specials, and more! As a winner of the 2016 Regional Brighthouse awards, they received a 15-second TV commercial that was filmed the night of the party as well.

"We are overwhelmed with the outpouring of support we have received from the community," said Chris Marlow, Managing Director of the Golden Lion Café. "It was an amazing night of fireworks, flyovers and fun," he added. Flagler Beach Mayor Linda Provencher was among the attendees and has been an employee at the Golden Lion Café for over 20 years.

Nearly two hundred of Florida's beach bars received votes from over 23,000 online voters. This isFloridaBeachBar.com's 6^th annual Top 10 Florida Beach Bar competition. Votes were combined with FloridaBeachBar.com's beach bar ratings to create the winning list.
