LOS ANGELES - July 29, 2016 - PRLog -- LOS ANGELES ALL-STAR ANTI-BULLYING FESTIVAL TO SHOW MASSIVE SUPPORT AGAINST BULLYING

WHAT:

Say NO Bullying Festival will unite celebrities, anti-bully activists, and the general community for a day of combating bullying by showing compassion through action. Say NO Bullying Festival brings together children, teens, and adults for an outdoor extravaganza which engages, educates and empowers the entire community and especially those impacted by bullying. The no cost, anti-bullying event will feature empowerment messages from activists, exhibit booths, giveaways, food and a massive celebrity meet & greet with stars from sports, film, television, and comedy. Live musical performances will feature boy band AFTER ROMEO, 80's & 90's band JERI CURL,  iHeart Radio Macy's Top of 25 singer ELLISE, and urban/pop recording artist YOUNG MARCO.

• Over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying each year.
• Approximately 160,000 teens skip school every day because of bullying.
• 17% of American students report being bullied 2 to 3 times a month or more within a school semester.
• 1 in 4 teachers see nothing wrong with bullying and will only intervene 4% of the time.
• By age 14 less than 30% of boys and 40% of girls will talk to their peers about bullying.
