Emerging Author and Humorist Releases the First Volume of his Hilarious New Series

NEW YORK - July 29, 2016 - PRLog -- The comical writer, James Evan Burroughs, has released his first collection of micro stories and essays, nonfiction and jocular in content. As told from the perspective of a New York City based young writer navigating his way through life's joys, challenges and struggles, all the while plucking amusement and humor from each of them, and translating it to the written word.  His hope is to provoke laughter as well as thought. The series is essentially an account of James' journey as he chases his dream of having his writings become ubiquitous.

With his quick wit and bizarre sense of humor, James has created a book that is humorous, enjoyable and condensed. This piece of writing has been designed as a quick, easy read. A great book to remind us not to take life so serious. As a fair warning, you may end up craving an icy cold gin martini as you navigate your way through this piece of writing. This is James' first published work. He lives in New York City and works at a store in downtown Manhattan to pay for rent and gin martinis at fancy hotel bars. His interests include watching sitcoms, reading fairy tales and drinking cheap beer through a straw. James has many lovely qualities and wonderful life accomplishments to speak of. He's pretty much just a cynical homosexual and a drunk.  I can say that because I'm him. It's odd to write about yourself in the third person.
