The Importance of Having Competition

DEDHAM, Mass. - July 29, 2016 - PRLog -- Chief Financial Officer, Michael Barbarita, emphasizes the importance of having and understanding competition in his latest blog post.  Michael writes that far too many people go into business without knowing their competitors.  As a result, they do not learn anything from the competition, opening the door for fear and sleepless nights.

A good way to learn about your competitors is to attend trade shows and perform a scouting report of sorts.  For example, you may:

·  Obtain information from your competitors' representatives

·  Focus on your competitors advertising and see how they market themselves

·  Determine how their logistics work or if they use contract manufacturers

·  Determine what their distribution strategy is

With this new information about your competitors, you will now be able to construct a more viable plan that will help you stand out from the pack.
