Narvitas Medical Devices International Limited Announces Initial Use of LapDome for Laparoscopic Surgery Access in the United Arab Emirates

LONDON - July 29, 2016 - PRLog -- Narvitas Medical Devices Limited, a UK-based international medical device company today announced the first clinical use of its breakthrough LapDome technology for laparoscopic surgery access at the LifeCare Hospital in Abu Dhabi by a distinguished medical team led by Dr. Ramzi AlShaiba and Dr. Manickam RajaKumar. The introduction of LapDome in the UAE has been spearheaded by the Narvitas subsidiary based in Dubai.

The initial access to the body at the commencement of laparoscopic surgery has remained a completely manual procedure which is time consuming and carries with it a high complication rate. Through the use of its dome shape, negative pressure, and specialized injection site, the proprietary LapDome technology provides a level of safety and reduction in access time over the current manual methods.
