His session will cover the following points: • Motivation for UAS technology in WB Group • Customer-driven and technology-driven approaches for UAS in WB Group • Experiences gathered through the UAS deployment As the only meeting of its kind in the region, SMi's UAV Technology Eastern Europe conference, taking place on 21st - 22nd September 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic, will explore the tactics and technologies for advancing capability in this important area. Drawing on the experience and ongoing work of regional military experts and those from across NATO, the forum will deliberate operational lessons learnt, from challenging environments such as counter-insurgency operations in the Middle East to ongoing security efforts across Europe.
