Novilytic Participates in a Scientific Joint Venture at Upcoming Olympics

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - July 28, 2016 - PRLog -- Novilytic has partnered with the Laboratory of Protein Biochemistry (LBP) in the forthcoming Games of the XXXI Olympiad (2016) Scientific Joint Venture.

Novilytic has provided its latest generation of Noviplex plasma preparation cards that can produce a stable plasma sample anytime and anywhere from a drop of blood.  These plasma samples can then be mailed to a central laboratory for testing or archived for later analysis.

Novilytic has been selling reagents and devices for several years that accelerate the testing of biological fluids. It has won awards for technical innovation and presented at several international conferences.   The company has received federal grants to advance the development of vitamin D testing to make it more specific and easier to implement.

It has patented a vitamin D method that is faster, simpler and more accurate than the current immunoassays which dominate this field. The company is located in Purdue Research Park and has benefitted greatly from its association with Purdue University.
