Messer construction promotes two team members in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - July 26, 2016 - PRLog -- Messer Construction Co. is pleased to announce the promotion of David Swartz to senior project manager and David Price to project manager in the company's Charlotte region. In their roles, Swartz and Price assist with the management of complex commercial construction projects for clients in various industries, including healthcare, higher education, K-12 education, industrial, aviation and government.

Swartz joined Messer as a co-op in 2007 and was hired full time after earning a degree in civil engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Most recently he worked in Charlotte at the Siemens facility and is currently leading a project for Carolinas HealthCare System. He serves as a region chair for Messer's Young Professionals committee and is a member of the company's local Safety committee. Additionally, he volunteers as a mentor for the ACE Mentor Program of America.

Price joined Messer in June 2015 as project engineer after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in civil engineering. He began his career in the lumber industry as well as property restoration, up-fit and management. Outside of work, he actively networks and trains members of the Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas.
