NEW HAVEN, Conn. - July 26, 2016 - PRLog -- People Involved in Motivating Our Students Higher (PIMOSH), has been providing arts education and technology  programs to children and families since 2002, but its summer guest speaker series is turning 10 this year.  Extremely talented students who undergo the "PIMOSH experience" attend classes, trainings, workshops, and several special projects throughout the 5-week program at Ross Woodward Classical Studies Magnet School (185 Barnes Ave).

Students produce educational content for books, movies/video, music and more throughout the year, but during summer months, the ride is intense and not everyone can stand the heat.  The program was co-founded by Patrina and Pierre Reddick (mother/son) under Mayor John Destefano & Reginald Mayo, Superintendent of School's administration, and has received funding and support through State of CT Department of Children and Families, City of New Haven, New Haven Board Of Education, Empower New Haven, YALE University School of Medicine's Consultation Center, and Community members.

Summer guest speaker series was designed 10 years ago keeping with the motivational factor associated with all PIMOSH programs.  This year is no different, and to close out this summers roster of great motivational people who have become involved includes the following: (1) Mr. Anthony Carter, Financial Planner and Real Estate Investor; (2) Diamond Tree & Majestic Wisdom, Fashion Designers; (3) Hans Hansen, National College Advisor; and up next at (4) Kevin Muhammad, teacher, leader in the field of education, and a community servant.  Students will hear from Mr. Muhammad at Ross Woodward Classical Studies Magnet School at 1PM.  Series usually takes place on Tuesday afternoons.

Mr. Muhammad has spent years motivating and inspiring audiences to get out of their comfort zone and take a front row seat for change and education.  After starting his career as a high school teacher and moving up the educational ladder to school principal, Kevin devotes his time teaching bot students and adults not only about academic subjects but he is a promoter of self sustainment.  Kevin is now seen as the go-to motivational keynote speaker for communities, schools, and organizations in need of guidance and mentoring in the Fairfield and New Haven County areas in overall morale, teamwork, and communication.

With Kevin's passionate, engaging, and fun personality, he connects with audiences immediately and delivers content they can connect with and use immediately.
