AFEA Expands by Adding Chapter in Colorado Springs, CO

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - July 25, 2016 - PRLog -- The American Financial Education Alliance is dedicated to providing financial education and increasing financial literacy within communities all over the country. Today, the Board of Directors has chosen to continue to do just that, by unanimously voting Laurinda Curti as the new Chapter President of AFEA's Colorado Springs, CO Chapter.

With the addition of Laurinda as the new Chapter President, AFEA is expanding its geographical footprint to cover the area of Colorado Springs, CO and will be offering free educational workshops within this area.  AFEA is thrilled to have Laurinda join their team and assist them in their mission of creating financial clarity within communities all over the country. Laurinda was introduced to the financial service industry later in her career and became licensed with Transamerica Financial Advisors where she spent three and a half years before joining the team at Aspen Creek in 2016. Laurinda has been able to effectively provide financial literacy strategies to her clients. She is registered as a Certified Financial Education Instructor with the National Financial Educators Council in conjunction with Transamerica Financial Educators Academy and is available for speaking and teaching the financial topics so often left out of school and college curriculum.
