Crowdfunding Campaign Launched for Crowdfunding Book

WASHINGTON - July 23, 2016 - PRLog -- The JOBS Act: Crowdfunding for Small Businesses and Startups, published by Apress on October 2, 2012, was the first crowdfunding book releleased. The Second Edition of this groundbreaking book will be published by Apress in October, 2016.

A crowdfunding campaign has been launched on Indiegogo to give supporters a chance to participate in the creation and publication of the second edition book.

A lot has happened since the first book was published, necessitating a complete update. The author has created a series of websites with infographics, videos, Title III crowdfunding campaigns and other material that remain the most complete and comprehensive information on the subject.

• The author, William Michael Cunningham, helped crowdfunding get started. His background is in finance (MBA) and economics (MA), both from the University of Chicago.
• This crowdfunding campaign will help complete the second edition in the time allotted, in a comprehensive manner.
• The second edition book will insure that there is objective, honest information on crowdfunding from an independent, unaffiliated source.

The Impact

Crowdfunding has the potential to change everything. We have seen the potential impact in communities of color.

Unfortunately, lawyers have tried to dominate access to JOBS Act crowdfunding. The second edition will provide information in plain language.
